Creative Skills Europe’s second meeting took place in Prague, Czech Republic, on Thursday 21 and Friday 22 January 2016. More than 40 participants from 12 EU countries (Austria, Belgium, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, the Netherlands, Slovakia, Sweden, and the United Kingdom) attended the event.
The seminar pursued two objectives:
– On day 1 a capacity-building session with a focus on Central and Eastern Europe aimed at a transfer of experience between national partners on their capacity to diagnose skills needs and implement skills initiatives in the audiovisual and live performance sectors.
– On day 2 the European Skills Council on Employment and Training in the Audiovisual and Live Performance sectors invited participants to look at, comment and contribute to its latest report.
Different themes have been discussed during the day such as the skills needs linked to digital and technological developments, the increasing and transversal need of new business skills, the management of less and less linear careers, etc.
