Creative Skills Europe

Supporting skills

Developing relevant and accessible skills schemes to help the sector be more innovative and to help individuals secure their careers are two faces of the same coin but they might require different types of partnerships and funding models.

Creative Skills Europe looked at initiatives experimented in different EU countries to respond in a pragmatic way to the evolving skills needs of the Audiovisual and Live Performance sectors.

Existing initiatives were discussed, and the added value of further sector partnerships were assessed, with a special focus on the relation between the industry and education and the role of social partners.

Good practices of Collective Bargaining Agreements and other joint initiatives in Europe, supporting skills and career development in the sectors, were collected with the aim of encouraging further actions.
