On the 30th of November and 1st of December 2017 the second Creative Skills Europe thematic seminar took place at the BRONKS Theatre for a Young Audience in Brussels. It was dedicated to workforce development and skills acquisition in the audiovisual and live performance sectors.
Through plenary presentations and group discussions participants, representing a diversity of national contexts and fields of expertise, exchanged on ways to enhance HR strategies in our sectors at business level and at sector level.
The programme of this workshop had been designed to look at skills development as an integral part of workforce development, linked to the changing environment in which we operate, mostly affected by digitalisation and the economic context. It looked at the transformations affecting both organisations and individual careers, and tried to identify solutions to accompany those transformations.
Many interesting case studies and insights were shared during the meeting and all PPT presentations are available for download below. A follow up publication capitalising on the intelligence gathered during the event is being prepared.
