For 3 months, Creative Skills Europe is running the ‘Creative Pathways to Creative Careers’ campaign, an initiative that comes as a response to staff shortages faced in a number of sector occupations, exacerbated by the Covid-19 pandemic. The campaign will be an opportunity to highlight resources and initiatives from across Europe, and to disseminate good practices.
For the first month, Creative Skills Europe decided to highlight existing resources across Europe that highlight the various jobs and crafts that make our sectors come to life.
The audiovisual and live performance sectors are brought to life thanks to a wide and rich range of professionals, representing a variety of jobs and crafts. Not all of those occupations are necessarily well known though, and deserve to be put under the spotlight!
From stage management to sound engineering, costume design to digital media production, our sectors offer a wide range of exciting and fulfilling roles. This month Creative Skills Europe highlights the extensive resources made available by national sector skills bodies, training institutions and social partners, including detailed occupation guides, national campaigns, and other interesting material on specific jobs and crafts. Whether you’re an aspiring artist or a seasoned professional, there’s a something interesting for you to be learned. Throughout the month we will be sharing different tools and resources from all around Europe that showcase the variety of occupations that bring the sector to life.
