From physical to digital meetings. How to map and visualize our ideas via whiteboards and sticky notes in the online environment?
Nothing more than getting acquainted to the tool.
See the resources below for existing tools.
Below you will find online reviews that have been comparing the two tools. Both tools operate in very similar ways. Main difference concerns the look and feel, and how much control you want to give to the user. Through those tools, you can capture the ideas of the audience in a visual way. Even when using those tools, make sure that the goal of the session is clear. People need to know what will happen with the outcome of a brainstorm session. Also explore the 'private' function. People might be steered into a certain direction and intimidated because what they say is directly visible. Although these tools are used a lot. It is worth looking at other tools called 'retrospective' tools like Retrium because there the answers are anonymised. But the principle is always the same. You ask a question and people get a change to answer. Only this time you’re not influenced by other peoples answer as you only get to see other peoples answers in the end. This might help to give everyone a voice.
